Bamboo Hotel
Bamboo Hotel
Bamboo Hotel connects accommodation units with shared spaces and coastal landscape in Zanzibar. A steel-cantilevered entrance structure serves as reception. Independent units, pool-side coastal rooms and an elevated communal restaurant and lounge create different layers of use.
The architectural documentation presents the bar and restaurant roof geometry, structural rhythm and spatial relationships through drawings and three-dimensional views. Natural materials and shaded outdoor spaces connect accommodation with communal functions. Parametrically’s service scope in the existing project record is construction drawing production.
BIM model and spatial data
The archived Bamboo Hotel BIM model shows circular accommodation masses along a linear spine, with communal facilities at either end. Reception, office, housekeeping, kitchen, storage, spa and technical spaces are related to rooms, bathrooms and verandas. Outdoor spaces such as sun decks and pool terraces have separate names, enabling indoor and outdoor programmes to be read in one data structure. The axonometric view describes the conceptual model layout; generic Room names have not been interpreted as hotel keys or bed capacity.
